Sport at Greenwood
Sport is one of Greenwood Primary School’s four main pillars. Sport plays an extremely important role in the learners’ lives. Pupils are
encouraged to participate in at least one summer, and one winter sport.
Coaching methods are given careful consideration. The school prides itself on catering for all pupils at every level of ability. Performance
in sport is not only measured by the scoreboard but by the teamwork and emotional support team members display towards each other.
Matches are an integral part of learning about sport, and so Greenwood Primary School participates in regular fixtures and leagues.
House matches are also organised in each discipline.
Parents are encouraged to support the teams throughout the week at the various fixtures and at the tournaments on Saturdays.
