The Department of Forestry, represented by Bongani and Linda, visited Greenwood Primary as part of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s initiative to plant 1 million trees over the next five years.
This is to raise awareness over the growing concerns of global warming and deforestation.
The learners asked some important questions and learned a lot about how trees should be planted and their impact on our environment.
